Summary:
Festivals and contests play a significant role in Ancient Greece. In hellenistic Boeotia, many festivals and inscriptions give us the opportunity to examine their organization and finances. Our aim is to draw as many conclusions as possible regarding for festivals and contests: Ptoia of Acraifia, Vasileia of Lebadeia, Sarapieia of Tanagra and Deleia of Oropos.
