The Mother of God in St. Nicholas Kavasilas's teaching
Summary:
The present assignment aspires to contribute only a tiny fraction to the research into Saint Nicholas's teaching of the "mystical beauty" of the Mother of God and the greatness of man.

To this purpose, both the references to the Mother of our Lord and Kavasilas's most important works have been deployed. In our piece of writing, the works of the holy father interact

with the prior ecclesiastical tradition and the contemporary deep theological and philosophical thought. Endeavours have been made regarding the presentation of the holy father's positions

both synthetically and as compared to the remaining literature of the Fathers of the Church and contemporary academic speech. The presentation of the positions of the Fathers of the Church

is, by all means, dominant in this assignment.Of the greatest significance is the reference to issues on which conflicting views have been formulated, such as the purity and the Metastasis

of the Mother of God. Research should not avoid but should attempt to resolve problems.
