From the one side pandemics and from the other side fake news and campaigns of misinformation have profound roots in history. During significant periods of history, humans have the tendency to believe rumors and fake news that “try” to explain phenomena in a simple and misleading way. Very important measures have been taken against Covid-19 Pandemic, these measures have brought restriction measures of civilians’ movements and as a result the use of social medial has increased significantly. Many times an important number of people used social media as their main source of information. The result of all the above was an increase of fake news and campaigns of misinformation in the field of social media.
