Summary:
Main goal of the thesis is to outline the frame in which teenagers compose their early political identity; not only as far as the party identification is concerned, but respecting to the first contact with the subject, the means and the characteristics of politics. The analysis concerns the factors that contribute to the development of the first thoughts and speculations about the political system during the adolescence. The theoretic analysis is followed by qualitative research/interviews with subjects of 14-16 years old, residents of Greece. The main question is what are the means, the factors and the situations playing role in the composition of the early political identity. Furthermore, what are the characteristics and their special elements, as long as this identity exists, and what are the differences in comparison to the past. In this frame, the effort concentrates on designing a new term and concept of politics, its properties, its protagonists and the space that occupies in Greece today.
