Summary:
Aim: The scope of study is to assess the preparedness, response competencies of Administrative Staff and resilience of health system. The aim is not to assess their performance, but highlighting the need of modernizing the role of three components.
Material: Data collection was performed with structured electronic questionnaire.
Method: 175 executives participated, from public hospitals of seven RHD. Demographic, occupational data were collected, with correlations of individual variables.
Results: The mental, working condition of staff became much worse: 27.6% of Executives stated that a preparedness plan is applied, 80% of the rest administrative staff did not have relevant knowledge and 28.6% stated that they will withstand a new wave for some weeks.
Conclusions: Measures of new Managements are considered necessary for a successful reform effort. The organization of health systems and development of medical countermeasures are suggested as essential elements for the project’s success.
