Summary:
The object of this research is the experimental application of theatrical practices to a group of people who in the past had shown a excessive involvement into gambling. These practices were investigated in the context of a theater group established specifically for the research. The starting point of the practice was the literary work of Fyodor Dostoyevsky 'The Gambler'. In the context of experimentation with the text and stage representation, biographical elements and personal testimonies of the participants emerged. During the rehearsals, the process of creating a theatrical performance, based on the principles of documentary-theatre, was further explored. Finally, the participants went on stage as actors to perform and narrate their biography.
