Inclusion of people with disabilities in disaster preparedness and response

This thesis will examine the inclusion of people with disabilities in natural disaster preparedness and response, with the aim of analyzing the challenges, good practices and policies that will enhance the safety and protection of this segment of the population. A detailed analysis of the existing literature will be developed which will include the theoretical approaches and research studies related to the topic.

During the work, best practices that have been implemented internationally to enhance the inclusion of people with disabilities in disaster preparedness and response will be highlighted. It will also analyze the challenges that exist in implementing these policies and practices, as well as the technological innovations that can contribute to achieving greater inclusion.
