Synthesis of 2-amino-thiazole derivatives with pharmacological potential
Summary:
In this thesis, the synthesis of 2-amino-thiazole derivatives is investigated. In the first chapter, the structural characteristics of 2-amino-thiazoles are analyzed, and a literature review of their synthesis methods is provided, along with an overview of their biological activities, focusing on derivatives that are used as drugs or are potential candidates for pharmaceutical use. In the second chapter the purpose of the study is outlined, while in the third chapter the synthesis processes of various 2-amino-thiazole derivatives is described. Specifically, synthesis methods for 2-amino-thiazole derivatives are presented, such as (N)-thiazolyl cinnamamides, (N)-thiazolyl lipoamides, (N)-thiazolyl sulfonamides, (N)-thiazolyl imines, and 2-formamido-thiazoles. In the fourth chapter the conclusions of the study are summarized, and in the fifth chapter the experimental methods used for the synthesis are described, along with the characterization of the derivatives. The identification and characterization of the compounds was performed using nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR 1H and 13C, NOESY, COSY, HSQC, HMBC) and mass spectrometry (MS).
