Summary:
The aim of this thesis is to investigate the perceptions of kindergarten teachers, with a small sample from the region of Boeotia, regarding the prevention of child abuse through the arts and more specifically through theatre.
The aim of the present research is to investigate and record the perceptions of the teachers on the subject under study. They were asked whether they had experienced such an incident themselves and whether they would be likely to create theatre activ-ities with child abuse as a main focus. Qualitative analysis was used to conduct the research, while data collection was carried out through personal interviews with kin-dergarten teachers (PE60) in Boeotia. The results show that the increase of the phe-nomenon of child abuse makes the creation of actions more necessary than ever. For this reason, in addition to theory and research, this paper proposes actions for pre-school children using theatre, based on the curriculum of preschool education.
