Παράλληλα, γίνεται παρουσίαση του βασικού νομοθετικού πλαισίου που ρυθμίζει το ειδικότερο καθήκον της ΕΚΤ να χορηγεί ή ανακαλεί άδειες λειτουργίας πιστωτικών ιδρυμάτων στην Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση. The present thesis outlines key judicial decisions of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) concerning actions for annulment or appeals brought against decisions of the European Central Bank (ECB) that grant or withdraw authorisations for credit institutions to operate. At the same time, it presents the main legislative framework governing the specific duty of the ECB to grant or withdraw operating licenses of credit institutions within the European Union.
