<dc:description xml:lang="en">This study examines how voters visually perceive and process political content on social media and how this visual processing relates to the interpretation and evaluation of political marketing. The study focuses on different types of visual political posts widely used in contemporary political marketing, including images of political speeches, politicians interacting with citizens, family-related images, international political meetings, and graphic political posts. The research employs eye-tracking technology through an online platform to capture visual attention patterns. The analysis of visual processing is based exclusively on heatmaps, which illustrate the aggregated spatial distribution of participants’ gaze. In addition, participants’ responses contributed to the understanding of perceptions related to the recognizability of political figures, the perceived intent of political posts, their authenticity, and the emotional impressions elicited by the visual content. The findings indicate that human faces, as well as emotionally charged and personalized visual frames, attract higher levels of visual attention. At the same time, the perceived effectiveness and authenticity of political posts vary depending on their form, structure, and communicative character. Overall, the study highlights the importance of visual processing as a critical mechanism in shaping communication strategy and political image in the digital environment, offering valuable insights for the strategic design of content within contemporary political marketing.</dc:description>
