Μελέτη περίπτωσης τα πλημμυρικά φαινόμενα της Ισπανίας (Οκτώβριος 2024) μέσα από τους Έλληνες και τους Μαροκινούς της Μάλαγας 2026 Ελληνικά Greek English Μπακόλας Γεώργιος Mpakolas Georgios Η παρούσα ποιοτική έρευνα εξετάζει τις ψυχοκοινωνικές επιπτώσεις που βιώνουν άτομα μετά από φυσικές καταστροφές, με μελέτη περίπτωσης τα πλημμυρικά φαινόμενα που έπληξαν την Ισπανία τον Οκτώβριο του 2024. Εστιάζει ειδικότερα στις εμπειρίες και τις αφηγήσεις Ελλήνων και Μαροκινών κατοίκων της Μάλαγας, με στόχο να αναδειχθούν τόσο οι κοινές όσο και οι διαφοροποιημένες διαστάσεις της μετακαταστροφικής προσαρμογής σε πολυπολιτισμικό περιβάλλον. Η συλλογή δεδομένων πραγματοποιήθηκε μέσω ημιδομημένων συνεντεύξεων, οι οποίες επέτρεψαν τη διερεύνηση προσωπικών βιωμάτων, συναισθηματικών αντιδράσεων και κοινωνικών συνεπειών, όπως το άγχος, ο φόβος επανάληψης του φαινομένου, η αίσθηση ανασφάλειας, καθώς και η επιβάρυνση της καθημερινής λειτουργικότητας. Παράλληλα, διερευνήθηκαν οι μηχανισμοί αντιμετώπισης και ανθεκτικότητας, συμπεριλαμβανομένης της κοινωνικής υποστήριξης από οικογένεια, φίλους και κοινότητες, καθώς και ο ρόλος της εμπιστοσύνης προς τους θεσμούς και τις υπηρεσίες πολιτικής προστασίας. Οι συμμετέχοντες/ουσες ήταν όλοι μόνιμοι κάτοικοι Ισπανίας και γνωστοί/ές του ερευνητή , γεγονός που διευκόλυνε την πρόσβαση και την ανάπτυξη κλίματος εμπιστοσύνης, ενώ ταυτόχρονα αντιμετωπίστηκε με προσοχή ως πιθανός παράγοντας επίδρασης στη διαδικασία συνέντευξης. Τα ευρήματα αναμένεται να συμβάλουν στην καλύτερη κατανόηση των ψυχοκοινωνικών αναγκών μετά από πλημμύρες και να υποστηρίξουν τον σχεδιασμό παρεμβάσεων που λαμβάνουν υπόψη πολιτισμικές ιδιαιτερότητες και τοπικά δίκτυα στήριξης. This qualitative study examines the psychosocial impacts experienced in the aftermath of natural disasters, using as a case study the flooding events that affected Spain in October 2024. It focuses specifically on the lived experiences and personal narratives of Greek and Moroccan residents of Málaga, with the aim of identifying both shared and differentiated dimensions of post-disaster adjustment within a multicultural context. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, a method that enabled an in depth exploration of individual experiences, emotional responses, and social consequences. Key issues investigated included heightened anxiety, fear of recurrence, feelings of insecurity, and disruptions to everyday functioning. In addition, the study explored coping strategies and indicators of resilience, such as the availability of social support from family, friends, and community networks, as well as the role of trust in institutions and civil protection services during and after the crisis. All interviewees were permanent residents of Spain and personally known to the researcher. This facilitated access to participants and supported the development of rapport and trust, while also being carefully considered as a potential factor influencing the interview process and the dynamics of disclosure. The findings are expected to contribute to a deeper understanding of post-flood psychosocial needs and to inform the design of interventions that take into account cultural particularities and local support networks. Ultimately, the research highlights the importance of culturally sensitive approaches to disaster recovery, emphasizing both psychological wellbeing and social cohesion in communities affected by extreme weather events.
