<dc:description xml:lang="en">This thesis investigates the impact of decentralized financial systems on consumer and business behavior, with a particular focus on digital payments, user engagement and online visibility. The study combines theoretical analysis with large scale digital data derived from the Semrush platform, which provides detailed metrics on organic traffic, paid traffic, backlinks, referring domains, keywords and other indicators associated with online performance. The research examines five major digital payment companies—PayPal, Stripe, Square, Authorize.net and Stax Payments—across a 13 month period, generating a dataset of 65 observations per variable. Descriptive statistics are employed to capture key behavioral and performance patterns across the selected websites, followed by Pearson correlation analysis and multiple linear regression to identify statistically significant predictors of organic website traffic. The findings reveal that Referring Domains are the strongest positive contributor to organic traffic, demonstrating their critical role in domain authority and off site SEO. Backlinks exhibit a negative coefficient due to multicollinearity effects, despite showing strong positive correlation at descriptive level. Paid Traffic shows a negative effect on organic traffic, suggesting a potential substitution mechanism between paid and organic channels. The Fuzzy Cognitive Map (FCM) modelling further validates the causal dynamics, illustrating how variations in key variables influence organic performance under different scenario simulations. Overall, the study highlights the decisive role of off site authority signals in driving organic visibility, while shedding light on the challenges and opportunities associated with the adoption of decentralized financial systems. The results provide actionable insights for improving digital strategy, optimizing resource allocation and enhancing competitiveness within the rapidly evolving digital payments landscape</dc:description>
