Summary:
Multiple skin biopsies were taken from patients with psoriasis before and
during
the first phase of their treatment with homeopatic drugs. Comparative
microscopy
showed that during the first phase of treatment increased necrotic activity in
the
epidermis with pus accumulation were observed alongside with increased mixed
type inflammatory infiltrates in the dermis . Mast cells and Langerhans cells
were
also increased. These findings reinforce the influence of homeopathic drugs on
mechanisms of inflammation and immune response.
