Summary:
One of the world’s most important environmental issues is the management of
Municipal Solid Waste, particularly in financially developed societies, which
generate larger quantities of waste. The procedures and technologies being
used, must be acceptable both on a technical and on an environmental and social
basis.
Waste collection is one of the major parts of the process of solid waste
management which consists of generation, collection, transportation, treatment
and final disposal. A major proportion of the total cost for solid waste
management is spent into municipal solid waste collection.
