Summary:
The use of Carboplatin as an anticancer drug targeted to various forms of
cancer has been the stimulus for this research subject.
In the present study a reliable method of detection and quantification of
Carboplatin was developed, which is based on Inductively Coupled Plasma
Spectrometry (ICP–AES). Also, the study of a preliminary method was performed,
with the goal to preconcentrate the compound via Solid Phase Extraction (SPE),
both batch and on-line, directly before the measurement.
The aim of this work was to identify Carboplatin as platinum, both in blood
plasma samples, as well as in urine samples
