Summary:
The study is a first approach to the technical and economic analysis of the
fifth generation mobile broadband networks. Initially the historical evolution
of wireless communications is presented and focused mainly on the
fourth-generation networks what will be the precursor of the fifth-generation
networks. Furthermore, full analysis of the technology is followed what must be
developed for the development of fifth-generation networks. At the end all
those theoretical-economic tools provided with, to be able to prepare a
techno-economic study.
