Summary:
The present diploma thesis deals with the upcoming technology of “cloud
computing” as well as the technology underlying “application delivery networks”
emerging in replacement of the conventional computing system infrastructure
whilst giving the contemporary user an unprecedented advanced technological
experience. Furthermore, in the context of this diploma thesis, a thorough
analysis of the technology of cloud computing and application delivery networks
will be attempted so as to promote their value and make the reason that caused
the transformation of current technological map, apparent.
