Summary:
The main aim of this dissertation is the implementation of a dynamic
autoscaling environment using the OpenStack open source cloud computing
software. In the first chapters the dissertation references the fundamental
Cloud services and continues addressing the main components of the Openstack
architecture with respect to those that were invaluable to the implementation
of the project. In the last chapters the implementation guide references the
steps required to configure and install the OpenStack platform and the
corresponding services in order to achieve the autoscaling environment. Finally
the dissertation addresses techniques required to implement high availability.
