Summary:
This project focuses on the extraction, transformation and processing of
geospatial data and other related information (name, comments, etc) from the
social network Foursquare.
Thsese data are gathered in a raw state making their use by applications
difficult or impractical. To overcome this problem, a particular procedure is
needed to transform the raw data into a more machine readable format, such as
RDF. After this step, the data can be easily enriched with other existing
geospatial data and be queried using a suitable querying language like SPARQL.
