Memristor applications on vlsi circuits
Summary:
Memristor, a concatenation of memory resistor, is a type of passive circuit
element that maintains a relationship between the time integrals of current amd
voltage accross a two terminal element. In fact its resistance depends on the
charge flowed through the circuit. When current flows in one direction the
resistance increases, in contrast when the current flows in opposite direction
the resistance decreases. However resistance cannot go below zero. When the
current is stopped, the resistance remains in the value that it had earlier. In
this paper we analyze the applications of memristors on VLSI circuits such as
the memory applications and the new logic families that use the memristor
technology
