"Consumers in EU competition law: notions and protection of consumers in the light of provisions 101 and 102 TFEU."

Consumers' protection in Competition law is an issue of considerable concern that deserves investigation, because of the frequent confusion of common concepts found in Consumer Protection law and due to the new challenges the modern era holds for the European Commission. Both the provisions of 101 and 102 TFEU serve the interests of consumers in the EU market, in different ways but always in line with the broader objective of the European Single Market. This study concludes that in a competitive market system, regardless of the different arguments on the pluralism of the targets of EU competition policy, consumer's choice and thus welfare is always proved to be a driving force that worths protection, promising a dynamic european economy.
