The relations between the US and China constitute one of the most crucial contemporary matters on the field of international relations. Their pluralistic features embrace the entire spectrum of the political, economic and social phenomenon, providing them with the ability to influence other actors besides the ones involved. The fact of the competition between the two states for leadership in the Asian region is a perfect example for the advocacy of the above statement. This essay aims to analyze certain aspect of the relations of the two actors, the methods they follow, the challenges that each sets to the other, as well as the challenges and hazards they face from their external surroundings. Finally, there is a presentation of the possible outcomes of this competitive clash, and the results that they will cause.
