Original Title:
Yugonostalgia as phenomenon of the present- the cases of Montenegro and Bosnia and HerzegovinaNA
Summary:
Even after two decades after the breakdown of the Iron Curtain and the disintegration
of Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRY), citizens in six ex-Yugoslav countries display
willingness to still celebrate Yugoslav holidays and customs, identify themselves as Yugoslavs, share
values convergent with communism, and we can notice that high levels of dissatisfaction with
democracy lamenting for the past times is very much present. In many republics of former SFRY
remembering the “past times” has positive context among ordinary people than within official, state
views.
