Summary:
With this project, we tried to investigate how Robotics can contribute to education by helping students of 1st-2nd grade High School to understand mainly physics and programming. So we started by quoting some simple terms, terms, definitions and mathematical relationships to children, explained any questions, and then informed them about the Mindstorms Edu NXT software and the robots that were going to be used. Initially, research began with the implementation of the Mindstorms Edu NXT software through which the robots functioned. These are robots built by the pupils themselves, made up of ready-made pieces (LEGO) guided by supervisors, after they were first divided into groups with the same number of aliases each according to their own preference. After finishing with the technical part, we started the experimental part by doing a series of experiments from which each team would have different results to draw its own conclusions and compare them with the rest. In this way we would see how students could understand things about physics through robotics. For this reason, questionnaires were also prepared, which were completed by the students, while in the end the results and the conclusions of the research were presented.
