This analysis focuses on a critical assessment of the EU's policy on the promotion of RES and of the efforts made by Greece to integrate this policy. The EU, inspired by the international texts to develop the Community's RES policy, has created such a coherent regulatory framework for their promotion so that it is now a self-referential new point of reference. As far as Greece is concerned, EU policy Has undoubtedly had and continues to result in the legislator's move towards creating an institutional framework that is in line with Community law. However, there is still a need to draw up an appropriate business plan that will implement everything that is at the target level. Lastly, it is attempted to record important inhibitors and limitations for the implementation of the Renewable Energy Regulatory Framework.
