Summary:
As subject of my thesis in the direction of Digital Media and Environments Interactive, Department of Communication and Media Studies of the National University of Athens, I chose to work with refugees of all ages living in the port of Piraeus and the old airport Ellinikon, so to create digital stories about their life and experiences coming to Greece. From September 2015 till June 2016 I worked with refugees, translators, volunteers, the Red Cross in order to inform them about digital storytelling, write their stories, and create multimedia video of those narratives. This document is a record of the process of creating digital stories and of what I learned from the stories of the participants.
