Summary:
Oxford University is ranked among the highest positions in the world rankings of Universities. This study attempts through the methodological approach of the case study, the study of the administrative and academic structure of the University, as well as the way of functioning of these structures. As regards this administrative structure, it was investigated, both with regard to the boards of management and their competences, as well as with the administrative staff. The focus of the study was based on the targets and policies of the University, the relationship and the role of all members (academic staff, academic related staff, employees, board members) in terms of administration/management, research and funding, in terms of meeting the expectations of students, as well as in issues related to the employment relationship and the variations of all types of university staff.
