Converting a german language test for the level b1 into a pervasive game
Summary:
The location sensitive game "Operation F.H.B." is an attempt to reconcile fun and educational targeting. This treasure Hunt can be described as a pervasive game with elements of Role playing. The goal of the game is to maximize pupils' performance in language tests and to transform the learning process into an adventure. "Operation F.H.B." is therefore a test-game that resembles the authentic B1 level German language test. The cornerstone for the design of the test is the Common European Framework of Reference for languages while for the design of the game was used the DESTE model.
