Description:
Rhodochrosite overgrown by calcite, and accosiated with disseminated pyrite crystals. Rhodochrosite is a typical gangue mineral in the Chalkidiki mines and accompanies pyrite, sphalerite and galena. During the '60s crystals up to 50 cm were gauged from the upper levels of the mine.
