Summary:
This study approaches conceptually human trafficking and presents the institutional framework in relation to it and its implementation. It focuses in particular on trafficking in human beings for the purpose of sexual and labor exploitation. The aim of this is to look at the underlying causes that lead to the formation and continuous development of the phenomenon, the search for strategies and policies, the recording of good practices and the evaluation of the given national institutional framework and its implementation. It also offers an overview and evaluation of legislative models for addressing the demand for trafficking in human beings for the purpose of their sexual exploitation, in particular the model of Sweden and Germany.
