Summary:
The purpose of this paper is to present the legal status of animals in Greek law (Civil Code, Law 4039 / 2012, Constitution), the examination of the issue, through the comparison of different legal systems and the presentation of the developments in international law and jurisprudence, as well as the reflection on the legal nature of the animals and whether they can be considered as subjects of rights.
Este trabajo fin de Máster trata de presentar el estatuto jurídico de los animales en la ley griega (Código Civil, Ley 4039 / 2012, Constitución), comparar los sistemas legales de otros países, reflexionar sobre la naturaleza de los animales y proponer cambios en el ámbito de su protección.
