"The concept of citizenship between the European law, law of foreigners and the protection of human rights"

Citizenship is also the reason for joining a political community, and it also entails rights and obligations. In order to acquire the nationality of the country, it must meet certain conditions imposed by that state. The case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union is cited and commented here, which has gone through several phases in its attempt to give a clearer and more meaningful content to the concept of European citizenship. Then labeled and specific categories of aliens tend to assimilate in society of residents because they fall into specific categories, which applies not only for Greece but also for all Member States and meets with the concept of "quasi-citizenship". This citizenship model and its recognition contributes to integrating immigrants into European societies, gives them a specific political identity and is a pre-requisite for their final integration. The adoption of quasi-citizenship with the award criteria before the tongue and sometimes other characteristics of a society, it is to facilitate the acquisition of rights by individuals who can not establish any right to naturalization or at least will have to wait for a long time. In any case, it is necessary for each foreigner to the host country, a result of a conscious process of integration into host institutions and systems.
