Summary:
The purpose of this paper is to present, through the examination of essential cases of the recent Greek case law, the reasons that lead the legislator to unilaterally interfere with an existing contractual relationship, and to indicate the limits within which the legislator can operate, that is to say, under what conditions a legislative intervention in an existing contractual relationship is permissible in order for it to be regarded as constitutionally permissible.
