Summary:
Electra, Antigoni and Medea are masterpieces of psychographic depiction of female thinking and acting. Initially, through the external and internal characteristics of their heroes, their character is drown as well as their role in the plays. A thematic analysis of the three tragedies is being presented along with their transmutation into film heroes by the creators-directors. Through a comparative approach the similarities and differences in ancient dramas and their cinematic transport are being highlighted. Next, a sample of the questionnaire is being presented, with the corresponding results as well as the remarks about them. Finally, the constraints of the research that emerged and its conclusions constitute a food for further contemplation and analysis of the grandeur that each time the reader discovers when studying the texts of the ancient tragedies.
