Summary:
Architecture constitutes a form of art and at the same time a form of science that is being connected to many expressions of everyday life and changes through the years. On the other hand, mass media influence all the political, economical and cultural aspects of society, a fact that creates a deeper connection, than one might think, with Architecture. All the new technological developments that have occurred in the field of mass media and the rise of a new era that internet and social networks have replaced the traditional informational forms, have also affected Architecture in a way that has changed the way that public perceives it. The way that Architecture is being communicated to the people through newspapers, television and the world wide web can change public's perspective into demanding a new reformed way of application in order to improve and enhance the image of our built environment.
