The special ultrasound and pharmaceutical profile of the participants as well as the special characteristics of those who failed to adjust their blood pressure were also studied.
Summary:
This specific work refers to hypertensive patients with or without newly diagnosed Hypertension under medicated antihypertensive treatment. A total of 387 people were included from the wider area of the province of Sitia in the prefecture of Lassithi, Crete. Data was collected from the database at the author's cardiological infirmary. The duration of the data collection was 26 months from 01/01/2016 to 28/02/2018. The aim of the study is the regulation of idiopathic arterial pressure in newly diagnosed as well as in already known hypertensive patients at the primary level in the province of Sitia. Additionally, the change in cardiovascular risk factors according to the SCORE cardiovascular risk assessment system of the European society of cardiology as well as the pharmaceutical antihypertensive regimen to achieve normal blood pressure is also contemplated. The ultrasonographic cardiac profile of the participants is also investigated during their introduction to the study as well as the particular demographic profile of the participants who have not been able to normalize their blood pressure after the end of the study.
