Summary:
The following study falls within the realm of Medieval Latin Literature Studies and particularly scripted Theatre of the early 13th century as it developed in the regions of contemporary Germany and France. The Latin manuscript under study is a short religious drama about the Passions of Christ, which begins by presenting the preparation of the Last Supper and concludes with Christ's burial by Joseph of Arimathia. The text was written during the 13th century and it is known today as ''Ludus breviter de passione''.
The three major aspects of the manuscript considered in this research are as follows:
• The edition of the text
• The appraisal of the text through Aristotelian Poetics
• And finally the interpretation of the text in relation to Poetics.
