Terrorism and migration flows. Security concerns in European Union

The last decade Europe is facing its most significant refugee crisis since the end of the second World War, as increasing number of people (immigrants and refugees) are moving to developed countries not only to find “the Promised Land", but also to avoid the hardship and deprivation that had faced in the previous years in their counties of origin.
What forcing them to sell all their belongings, in their countries of origin, and begin a difficult journey to arrive in the West, is to find “the Promised land”. This difficult – long journey often is exploited by organized terrorist organizations which, in most cases, use this human corridor, with "no resistance", to penetrate to the heart of European Union to carry out their terrorist attacks and put in danger the security of the European Union. It is easy for a terrorist to use the flows of immigrants and refugees to enter Europe as the terrorism starts from areas where most of the times are the safe haven of Terrorist organizations. These safe heavens are mainly located in the Middle East.
Today, there is a heated debate on whether immigration is associated with terrorism. However, we lacked evidence that could inform this debate. There’s no real link between immigration and terrorism. Yet, one thing is certain, if armed conflicts, violations of human rights, poverty, lack of social, political, economic stability, and natural disasters continue to exist, I have no doubt that the mixed flows will continue to increase. Moreover, If the phenomenon of mixed flows will not be treated properly by all actors, then it can be used by the terrorists to entry into the EU and carry out terrorist attacks similar size and intensity to those carried out until now in Europe.
