Summary:
Introduction: Nursing as vigilance proves to be particularly aggravating for the musculoskeletal system. The activities required to practice this, including regular patient transport, material transfer, and even the manipulation or transport of specific devices, contribute to the occurrence of musculoskeletal disorders.
Purpose: to estimate the musculoskeletal disorders that nurses have to face and the way these disorders relate to the significance of the work area.
Material – Method: there have been used the method of systematic review to the data bases Medline, Pubmed, ΙΑΤΡΟΤΕΚ, Βήμα Ασκληπίου, where were found published articles, studies and abstracts on the internet.
Results: they are mentioned to the specific part 14 studies from 2003 to 2017 that show the significance of musculoskeletal disorders that present the nurses in different parts of their bodies. From the studies it turns out that the 80% of the nurses face musculoskeletal disorders in spinal cord (SC), in upper limbs, in nape, in the lumbar area.
Conclusions: most of the nurseς΄ musculoskeletal disorders seems to depend on physical ergonomic factors, especially the painful body
stance during working and the incomplete control of neurologic and muscle stance of the spinal cord and the limbs. About the bruisings the nurses΄ corresponding, working section plays a very important role. From the studies it turns out that. The nurses who appear to have less musculoskeletal disorders are those who work in the emergencies.
