Summary:
This present survey “The literacy in pre-school age” examines the opinions of freshmen and alumnus students of the Department of Early Childhood Education about the functions of literacy. Our aim of work was to research the possible movement in the opinions of the freshmen and alumnus students. The methodology tools we used to conduct the survey was the questionnaire which was given in 60 students. The survey consists of a theoretical part and the research part. In the theoretical part are presented conceptual concepts about the literacy, and they will be the framework in which we will analyze our findings. In the research part our aims, the methodology the data analysis and our conclusions are presented. In the end there are our bibliography and the annex with our questionnaire. Through our data analysis we conclude that there is a movement between freshmen and alumnus students’ opinions.
