Summary:
This diploma thesis deals with the opinion polls and the position they occupy today in the public debate but also with their possible effects on the behavior of the citizens. In the first part there is a review of the international and Greek bibliography related to the opinion polls, while in the second part we are investigating the involvement of citizens with the opinion polls and their possible effects on them.
