Δίκαιο και Μέθοδος

Law and Method
Summary:
The present thesis examines the relationship between logic and law, considering the former as the necessary and only method of the latter. In this context, it is argued that the reasonable discussion of a subject consists in its logically valid reconstruction and that law is a kind of addressing (being usually an aggregate of rules, but also, possibly, a principled system). Finally, differences are discussed between normalcy and normativity, as well as between interpretation and understanding. The thesis concludes that a general methodology of law cannot exist and that logic as a method could revitalize jurisprudence.
