Religion in the context of Greek law and Islamic law
Summary:
Religion! A word which has a deeper meaning, a word that always interested
people and will continue to interest them in all their aspects of their lives. We are
reading and we are constantly informed about religion and we support that whatever
surrounds it is complicated while in reality things are very simple. It is enough to treat
them with spherical eyes.
This tempting world of religion also applies to texts in the legal field hundreds
of times because the consequences of its existence determine human activity much
more than we believe.
An attempt at a comparative study to address religion issues within the law,
is also the content of this paper. The discriminations which associated with it are clear
and often segregate the way of life and thought of a group of people, a race, a state or
a whole nation. This study focuses on the area of Islam and the Greek law and seeks
to approach elements that apply to religion in two different legal worlds and to arrive
at the most comprehensible conclusions.
