The present study’s aim is the research of the academic and administrative structure and function of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is the largest University in Greece. The strategic objectives of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki remain consistently oriented to the continuation of its tradition and distinguished between many Greek and foreign Universities on levels education, research, culture, connection with society. In particular it presents a brief historical overview, the Universities administrative bodies, administration services, Faculties and Schools and other academic and educational structures of the University. The study has been based on case study, data from the University website, from laws and decrees and from Internal Regulation.
