Summary:
The purpose of this thesis is to study the migration phenomenon and its impacts in the European Union and Greece. In order to do this, we first make a reference to the phenomenon of immigration, analyzing more the impact it has on our country. The research section includes statistics gathered from studies by other researchers and concerned the impact of this phenomenon on the labor market, unemployment and GDP of Greece. The results of the survey showed that the migratory phenomenon does not favor our country as the small increase in the GDP index coupled with the increase in unemployment and the negative climate prevailing in the market creates a negative impact on it.
