Summary:
In this diploma thesis we aim to analyze the processes and infrastructure needed to create Automations in a space both in Hardware and Software on a Raspberry PI computer. How to set up the network, which routers to use and what connectivity to go between the routers-Raspberry pi and configuration in the management place (bridge mode-PPOE-ISP).
Then provide detailed features - Sensor-Switches-Cameras specifications that we will use and how to install them in their respective manufacturers applications. All of the peripherals we have proposed allow us to manage their Api with the appropriate programming techniques. Practically, this would help us manage them and make the most of their capabilities on Home Assistant - Google Home platforms. We refer to the communication protocols that all the sensors use and the capabilities they provide (Zigbee, Z-Wave, MQTT).
Finally, we select the use Alexa Echo Dot for voice commands, describe how we can "group" all senses together into a single app but also how to create Cases-Routines. All of this is a reliable guide to creating a Home project Automation from scratch.
