Summary:
The frequency of benign thyroid nodules is very high among the population.Syrgery is the method of choice for thyroid nodules. Over the last few years however thermal and chemo ablation minimally invasive methods manage to succeed very good results and fewer complications than open syrgical treatment of benign thyroid nodules.Τhe purpose of this study is to analyse the procedure, the current possibilities and results of RFA method.
