Bioinformatics and breast cancer
Summary:
Over the past decades, Biology, Medicine and Informatics have shown significant progress. Significant decade was the 1990s, when the science of Bioinformatics, which was a union of biology and informatics, had an important contribution to serious medical problems. One of these is the breast cancer, a very common form of malignancy, which is the most common form of cancer in women.
In this way, the science of Bioinformatics has provided considerable, two main ways. First of all, looking for damage at the level of genetic material. As far as DNA is concerned, the analysis of which had begun as early as 1944, when it was identified as the genetic material of the human organism, with the help of both algorithms and technical microarrays, it was possible to find the genetic changes and the genes that are associated with breast cancer, so that targeted therapies can be created. In addition, by means of protein analysis procedures, it has been possible to produce search biologists for various forms of cancer for both primary disease and relapse. Finally, with the process of introducing normal and anatomical animal models, it has been possible to overcome the difficulties that are naturally occurring in human studies
But besides the seek of genetic problems, Bioinformatics has helped significantly in organizing information. This was made possible by creating electronic databases that were structured in a user-friendly manner both in search and editing of information.
In this paper, Bioinformatics Science, Bioinformatics and Pathophysiology of Cancer and especially breast cancer will be presented, the methods of acupuncture and sequencing algorithms will be analyzed, microarray techniques, protein analysis methods, the use of biomarkers and animal models for paramedics, and the three most important databases associated with breast cancer.
