Summary:
My work is an attempt to approach the performances of Vasilios Katsikonouris dramaturgy. Initially, I present the dramatic profile of each play and I continue by presenting the ways that the text becomes materialized in the stage, meaning the theatrical productions. My target for each production is to effectuate the following triptych: analysis - reception - criticque of the critique. For the productions that there is no audiovisual material available, the triptych is changed into a diptych: reception - critique of the critique. My approach is made through the use of primary (video) and secondary sources (reviews, interviews).
